Tea Party Needs Sugar

The Tea party seems to have a one note or at least one theme song that they stole from Groucho Marx of all people.



Not agreeing with the President or party in power is all well and good but you need to offer specific alternatives. And as much as I like Ray Stevens Caribou Barbie is is not the answer.

Ladies and gentlemen, tone down the anti-Obama, anti-Liberal anti-Democrat speech or kindly STFU. The last thing this country needs right now is battling diametrically opposed ideologies. We need to find as much common ground as possible and work from there. Better for every one to get some of the pie that some be left with no dessert. The last time the country went to far down that road we ended up shooting at each other. If that ever happens again, or even get close to it, moderates like myself need to take a hint from the Wolfe Tones song the Orange and the Green,

"We tried to smooth things over, but they all began to fight.
And me, being strictly neutral, I bashed everyone in sight."

Can't we all just try to get along?
